February 1, 2024 – A man was fatally injured Wednesday evening after being hit by the WeGo Star commuter train.
It happened on the railroad bridge that crosses Driftwood Street. The victim is identified as Timothy Douglas Seeds, 43, whose ID listed an address of Old Matthews Road.
Video shows that Seeds was on the bridge throwing rocks as the train, with horn sounding, approached.
He turned his back to the train and made no effort to step off of the tracks.
