Members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force this afternoon apprehended Demonquez Sandifer, 32, who was on the MNPD’s Most Wanted List following the return of a grand jury indictment charging him with multiple counts of rape and statutory rape against a teenage girl who formerly lived in the same home.
Sandifer was taken into custody hiding in an upstairs closet of a residence on Lischey Avenue. He is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond set by a Criminal Court judge.
