October 5, 2023 – Two teens have been arrested after leading police on a chase in a stolen car in Mt. Juliet.
On Wednesday, MJ Guardian Shield alerted officers to an ‘17 Hyundai Elantra, stolen from Nashville on 10/3.
Officers intercepted the car on Central Pike near Mt. Juliet Rd. The car fled, which led to a pursuit. Coordination with Wilson County Sheriff Deputies led to a successful spike system deployment by a deputy that disabled the car on HWY 231 near Central Pike.
Two suspects, both 14-year-olds from Nashville, took off running, and officers quickly apprehended them.
They were in possession of marijuana and burglary tools.
