November 12, 2023 – Two female cousins, ages 7 and 9, are recovering at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital after gunshots came through a bedroom window late Saturday night in an apparent targeted shooting on Creekwood Drive. The girls were among a group of children in the apartment bedroom watching a movie.
A 16-year-old male, who sleeps in that bedroom, left the apartment prior to detectives arriving on scene.
The motive remains under investigation.
