The Nashville-based, Grammy-nominated band, the WannaBeatles, and the Nashville Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) invite you to attend a special concert fundraiser benefitting the Nashville chapter of the NFB at the Tennessee School for the Blind auditorium (115 Stewart’s Ferry Pike Nashville, TN 37214) on the evening of October 1, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. (doors open at 6:00 P.M.)!.
The WannaBeatles offer an eclectic blend of Beatles’ classics, humor, original songs, and a sprinkling of hits by other well-loved bands, delivering a “feast” for the ears, dancing feet, and funny bone. Their funfilled and family-friendly performances also include lots of opportunities for audience participation.
The Nashville chapter of the NFB is a close-knit “family” of members who are always ready and willing to advocate on the behalf of people who are blind in Nashville and the surrounding area. Some of the chapter’s initiatives include providing assistive technology and training grants, offering transportation grants to meetings and NFB conventions, offering scholarships to blind students in the Nashville area, providing educational and community resources for blind people of all ages, initiating legislation and policies that promote the independence of the blind, and much more, with the goal of enabling blind people in our area to “live the lives they want.”
Tickets will be available for purchase on the chapter’s website on August 1st at a cost of $20 per ticket.
