The Centennial Large Dog Park, located at 2500 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203, is closed for fence replacement. The replacement process will take approximately three weeks, depending on weather conditions. The parking lot for both dog parks, located off Parthenon Avenue will also be closed to the general public. Alternatively, dog owners could utilize the other six dog parks in the Metro Parks system. All of them are open seven days a week from dawn to dusk.

  • Warner Dog Park – Edwin Warner Park, 50 Vaughn Road – across from the sports complex.
  • Shelby Dog Park – Shelby Avenue at S. 20th Street – behind the Shelby Park Community Center.
  • Pitts Dog Park – 299 Tusculum Road.
  • Two Rivers Dog Park – 3150 McGavock Pike.
  • Percy Priest Dam Dog Park – 3778 Bell Road.
  • Fair Park Dog Park – 300 Raines Avenue.
  • Frankie Pierce Park Dog Park – 130 Lifeway Plaza

In addition, 51 Dog Park is located on 5104 Illinois Avenue, and Gulch Dog Park is on 1216 Pine Street.

The use of Metro Park property and facilities by dog owners, custodians of dogs, and their pets is subject to the Department’s “core service” conditions that promote safety and quality of recreational experiences for all Nashville residents and visitors. The primary goals of dog management on park property are compliance with the leash law and regulations for dog waste removal.
