Texas Roadhouse is expanding in Tennessee, reports WKRN.
The steakhouse chain plans to open 14 locations, with one slated for Antioch, Tennessee. Restaurant Business reported that the chain is now the biggest casual dining chain in the U.S.
Data released from Technomic on the Top 500 largest restaurant chains in the U.S. showed Texas Roadhouse beat out long-standing Olive Garden, which had held the top spot since 2018.
Restaurant Business shared, “The Louisville, Kentucky-based chain has been growing quickly for years. It has benefited from consumer demand for steak coming out of the pandemic, but has helped its cause by investing in staffing and operations while keeping its prices lower than inflation.”
Texas Roadhouse opened in Spring Hill in 2023, there is also a location in Murfreesboro and Hendersonville.
