Homicide Unit detectives are investigating Tuesday’s 8 p.m. fatal shooting on E. Palestine Avenue at the Falcon View Apartments.
The man was located in the breezeway with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.
The victim was identified as Israel Teniente, 17, of Madison. He lived about three miles from Falcon View Apartments. Homicide Unit detectives continue to pursue leads in this case.
Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a $5,000 reward in homicide cases.
