Students in Goodlettsville have a new opportunity to step into leadership and make their voices heard in local government.
Applications are now open for the Goodlettsville Teen Advisory Committee (G-TAC), a program designed for residents in grades 7 through 12 for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.
The committee meets monthly during the school year, giving students a chance to plan community events, organize fundraisers for local and national organizations, and build real-world leadership skills. Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes look at how local government works, serving in an advisory role to city leaders and sharing ideas that could shape future initiatives.
Open to public, private, and homeschooled students, the program offers a hands-on way to get involved, connect with peers, and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Students interested in applying can learn more and submit an application through the city’s website.
