Ryan and Matthew Poli, the brothers behind award-winning Nashville restaurant iggy’s, plan to open a new neighborhood steakhouse in Wedgewood-Houston. More Eat & Drink News

Claymore is expected to open in 2027 at 622 Hamilton Ave., just down the hill from iggy’s. The 60-seat restaurant will continue the brothers’ focus on high-quality food, distinctive wines and attentive service.

Prime cuts of meat will anchor the menu, joined by creative salads and elevated steakhouse sides. The kitchen will emphasize carefully sourced ingredients and an inventive approach similar to the one that has defined iggy’s.

“We’ve called Wedgewood-Houston home for three years and are committed to the growth of this vibrant community now more than ever,” chef Ryan Poli said in a release. “You can expect the same innovative food at Claymore that you’ve come to know from iggy’s, now built around a thoughtfully curated steakhouse menu designed to be the neighborhood go-to spot.”

Sommelier Matthew Poli will lead the beverage program, which will feature bold red wines, Old World varietals and selections from emerging regions and producers. The bar will also offer classic cocktails, top-shelf spirits, a robust whiskey list, house-made ingredients and spirit-free options.

Additional details, including Claymore’s opening date and full menu, will be announced later.
