Nov 3, 2023 – Suspected bank robber Tyrone Meriweather, 48, is in custody after North Precinct patrol officers located him inside a room at Americas Best Value Inn, 2403 Brick Church Pike.
He is charged with aggravated robbery for the October 19th holdup of US Bank’s 4241 Harding Pike branch. He is also suspected in Wednesday’s robbery at the same bank. The suspect in both cases demanded money at knifepoint.
Additionally, Meriweather is charged with cocaine possession. He is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
