On February 23, 2023, in the mid to late afternoon there was a road rage incident involving a red Chevrolet truck and a gray/silver Mazda RX8 that started in Nashville in the area of Lewis Mkt and traveled into Cheatham County on Highway 12 before turning on Tennessee Waltz and traveling into Dickson County.
Once in Dickson County, the two subjects exchanged gunfire causing the driver of the red Chevrolet truck to sustain a minor injury.
The driver of the truck believes he hit the Mazda when he returned fire.
The Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office in trying to obtain the information on the gray Mazda and the driver.
The driver is wanted for questioning in this incident and there are no warrants on file at this time.
