A stolen license plate alert from the La Vergne Police Department’s Flock Safety camera system led to the arrest of a wanted suspect on Wednesday.
Police said officers located the vehicle after receiving the alert and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, they learned the driver had active Metro Nashville warrants involving dangerous drugs.
The suspect ran from officers on foot but was captured after a brief chase.
Police also recovered suspected methamphetamine from the suspect. The substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
