A woman was shot outside the Davidson County courthouse Monday morning, WSMV reports.
The shooting occurred just outside the Justice A. A. Birch Building on 2nd Avenue North.
Police say the incident happened around 8:40 a.m. A woman was struck by gunfire from a Dodge Journey, and authorities believe she was specifically targeted.
Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
