March 19, 2022 – A single-car crash early Saturday on Brewer Drive near the Nolensville Pike intersection killed both occupants.
The deceased driver is identified as Edzon Josue Leonel Hidalgo Cho, 20, of Nashville. Efforts are continuing to locate the family of Cho’s 27-year-old male passenger.
Midtown Hills Precinct officers responded to the crash at 3 a.m. The investigation shows that Cho was driving his 2008 BMW sedan southeast on Brewer Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control, ran off the left side of the road, struck a mailbox and then a culvert, causing the car to roll over several times. Both men died at the scene. They were wearing seatbelts.
