Sadie’s, the beloved Mediterranean-inspired restaurant nestled in the lively Edgehill Village, will host the Third Annual ‘Light the Morning Benefit Brunch’ with Charles Esten on Friday, October 18, in support of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The morning will feature an exquisite brunch menu along with inspirational discussions, led by acclaimed actor, singer, and longtime LLS advocate Charles Esten. Tickets are now available for $100 per person via Open Table. All proceeds directly benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest nonprofit health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing educational and patient services.

The Light the Morning Benefit Brunch will highlight Sadie’s unique approach to American fare influenced by Mediterranean flavors. The elevated brunch menu will feature beloved signature dishes, served family style, such as Mezze Plate with hummus, olive tapenade, grilled pita, and crudites, Chopped Israeli Salad, Whipped Feta, Mediterranean Breakfast Skillet, and Chicken and Lamb Kebabs. The delectable menu will be accompanied by a “Make Your Own Cocktail Bar” as well as a special selection of wines and beer for the occasion.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the largest voluntary organization dedicated to finding blood cancer cures and ensuring patients can access necessary lifesaving treatments. Since 1949, the organization has invested more than $1.7 billion in revolutionary research, while providing hope, compassion, education and support to patients and families. Community initiatives, including the Light the Night Walk and Light the Morning Benefit Brunch, raise funds and pay tribute to those who have survived, those battling and those who have lost their fight with cancer.
Charles Esten is an American actor, singer, and songwriter, best known for his roles as Deacon Claybourne on CMT’s Nashville and Ward Cameron on Netflix’s Outer Banks. In 2024, Esten released his highly anticipated independent debut album, Love Ain’t Pretty and performed thirteen solo headline shows across the UK and Europe. His celebrated career reaches beyond entertainment as Charles also serves as the National Honorary Spokesperson for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual Light the Night Walk. LLS is organization close to his family as over 20 years ago, his youngest daughter Addie survived leukemia. As a prominent advocate for blood cancer research and awareness, his efforts have helped raise over $2 million to aid in accelerated cures for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
