Rutherford County’s Cold-Weather Shelter Program to Open This Week

Coldest Nights is a seasonal, cold-weather shelter program for unsheltered adults in Rutherford County on nights when the low temperature is forecast to be below freezing.

Supper is served at 6:00 p.m. for everyone at the First Baptist Church gym near the corner of Vine Street and Academy.
Shelters open at 7:00 p.m.

Men are served at First Baptist Church Murfreesboro and Women are served at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 116 N. Academy Murfreesboro.

Families that are in need of shelter are served at the Nashville Rescue Mission at 639 Lafayette St. in Nashville.

Also Monday and Tuesday (1/15, 1/16), there will be a warming shelter set up during the day. The information for warming shelter is as follows:

From 8:00am to 3:00pm Journey Home located at 308 W. Castle St. Murfreesboro and from 3:00pm to 6:00am at Murfreesboro Cold Patrol located at 800 Park Ave. North in Murfreesboro.
