February 23, 2024 – A $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the January 24th fatal shooting of Jonathan Castillo, 22, in the 800 block of Aeolia Drive.
Castillo had parked outside the residence of an ex-girlfriend where he reportedly had gone to pick up their 3-year-old child. According to a witness, two gunmen wearing masks walked past the victim’s car before one turned and pointed a handgun toward him, telling him to get his hands up after which shots were fired. Officers arrived to find Castillo inside his vehicle, unresponsive.
Anyone with information about Castillo’s murder is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000 in homicide cases, in addition to the $15,000 reward from his family.
