Police Responds to Threat Call at Martin Luther King Jr. High School

An investigation is underway after a threat was reported at Martin Luther King Jr. High School on Wednesday morning, WKRN reports.

Metro Nashville Police received the threat call at the school just before 9 a.m.

The school, located on 17th Avenue North near downtown Nashville, was placed on lockdown as officers led an investigation around the building.

Metro Nashville Police later confirmed the call was a hoax.

Police have not released any additional information.
