The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be closing SR 251/River Road in Nashville for a pipe replacement.
The road will be closed at River Road Pike and Old Charlotte Pike from 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. except to local traffic.
The existing pipe has collapsed causing the road to cave in. TDOT crews will remove it and install a new 24” pipe in its place.
Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time and slow down while in a work zone.
