October 30, 2023 – A female pedestrian has died following Monday’s 5:45 a.m. hit and run crash on Murfreesboro Pike near East Thompson Lane.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was found in the grass median of Murfreesboro Pike.
She was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died.
Crash investigators are working to identify the vehicle responsible.
