A pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday (December 27) at 4 a.m. in the 400 block of Metroplex Drive.
The driver of a Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Metroplex Drive when the unidentified white male, who was attempting to cross the roadway, was struck. A witness to the collision said that the pedestrian had been crossing Metroplex Drive multiple times prior to the crash. The driver reported that he could not avoid the collision. The pedestrian died on the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office will work to identify him.
This fatal crash occurred outside of a crosswalk.
