(August 25, 2022) – The 57-year-old pedestrian victim in this afternoon’s hit & run collision on McGavock Pike near Brownwood Drive has died. The man was carrying an Italian passport. Efforts are underway to notify his next of kin.
Nashville Fire Department medics came upon the victim lying on the side of the road just before 2:30 p.m. A witness reported seeing a white Nissan Altima, possibly a 2014 to 2018 model, fleeing the area at a high rate of speed around the time the collision likely occurred.
