Wesley D. Lewis, age 57, passed away in Watertown, Tennessee, on April 25, 2026.
Wesley was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest peace while hunting or fishing. He had a deep appreciation for nature and loved the quiet satisfaction of working with his hands, whether he was tending to his vegetable garden or tackling a new project. Known for his sharp wit and intelligence, Wesley was a funny and dependable presence in the lives of those who knew him. He was a truly loyal friend who could always be counted on.
Wesley is preceded in death by his mother, Betty L. Lewis.
He is survived by his father, W. David Lewis; his sister, Whitney Adams and her husband, Josh; and his nephews, Gavin Adams and Harrison Adams. He also leaves behind a community of close friends who will miss his humor and spirit.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9th, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Cemetery, located at 2400 Berry Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wesley’s memory to the Tennessee Wildlife Federation (https://tnwf.org) to honor his lifelong love for the Tennessee wilderness.
