Virginia Scribner Cartwright, retired business teacher in Nashville, has passed away on Wednesday, May 6, due to sudden illness, at 93 years of age. Born in 1932 in Nettleton, MS, to Lena Taylor & John Riley Scribner, she was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband (Rev. James V. Cartwright Jr.); her grandson Patrick Cartwright; and her siblings, Johnny & Cullie Scribner, Helen Williams, and Jewel Waddle.
She is survived by: sons Kevin (Jama), David (Linda), and John (Darlene) Cartwright; grandchildren Bethany (Joe Ji), Daniel (Clea), and Chloe Cartwright; great-grandchildren Eleanor, Robin and Issac Ji, Meridian and Alden Cartwright, and Ira, Nori and Orren Lee.
