Mrs. Viola Powers Couser of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, she was 87 years old.
Preceded in death by her husband, Norman Couser.
Viola has lived all her life in the Nashville area and graduated from Hume-Fogg High School. She and her late husband owned and operated Couser’s Family Restaurant on Nolensville Road across from the zoo. The restaurant was not just a place for good food, but a gathering place for Country Music Stars, friends and politicians. Viola was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Survived by sons, John (Michelle Elliott) Arriola and Richard Arriola; granddaughters, Jessica Arriola and Katie (Jose) Sanchez; brother, Thomas (Brenda) Powers.
Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Mausoleum South at 10:30 a.m. by Wendell Byrd. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
