Tonie Katherine Duffy, 77, of West Nashville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2024.
She was born in Nashville on March 10, 1947, to the late Charlie Ben and Mary Katherine Hurt Thompson.
Tonie was a graduate of Hillwood High School. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed aimlessly driving, puzzle books, and her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Tonie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; sister, Diane Owen (Tony); brothers Albert Thompson and Charles Thompson; and daughter-in-law, Jeannie Duffy.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Daryl Duffy and Hugh Duffy; grandchildren, Ella, Parker, Jackson, Addilyn, and Layla; sister, Connie Russell; brothers, Tim Thompson (Janie) and Paul Thompson; sisters-in-law, Pam Thompson and Kathryn Thompson; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at West Harpeth. A Celebration of Tonie’s Life will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday in the Chapel at West Harpeth.
