Thomas “Tommy” Anthony Cole, better know as “Pop Pop” by his hero Cole Riddle and grandson Jackson Frazier, passed away February 24, 2026. Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Cole, father, LeRoy Cole; brother, Joe Cole; sister, Bessie Eckstein; best friends, Mike Martin and Jere O’Connor. Tommy is survived by his daughter, Amy (Marshall) Riddle and their child Cole Riddle; his daughter, Katie Cole and her son Jackson Cole Frazier; his baby sister, Mary (John) Lowe; and his brother, Snooky (Barbara) Cole.
Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Friday, February 27th, from 2-7pm with a Masonic Service at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1225 Gallatin Pk. Madison, TN 37115, Saturday, February 28th at 10am with visitation 1 hour prior.
Following his diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease, he attended a day program for those with dementia. In lieu of flowers, we would love if you would consider donating to a scholarship to be created in Tommy’s name so that others can benefit from this resource.
