Thelma Louise (Lou) Grimsley, age 85, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
Lou was born September 30, 1937, in Biggers, AR, to William Ralph and Eliose Lingle (nee Park).
She was retired from Bellsouth/AT&T and a member of Shiloh Baptist church. Lou was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William McArthur Lingle, and sister, Bonnie Lingle Elliott.
She is survived by:
Children – Gregory Duane (Gerrie) Grimsley Sr. and Cynthia Louise (Keith) Grimsley Begnaud
Grandchildren- Gregory Duane (Jennifer) Grimsley Jr., Alexandria Michelle (Ben) Grimsley, Christian Martin Begnaud
Great-grandchildren- Devon Duane Grimsley, Shelby Dawn Grimsley, Jackson Wade Grimsley, and Parker Daniel Grimsley
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alive Hospice or the National Kidney Foundation.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at Bond Memorial Chapel.
