Sue Jeanette Kenning Sanders of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, she was 87 years old.
Sue was a founding member of Riverwood Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also in charge of the Love Bear Ministry at Riverwood for the past several years. Sue enjoyed sewing and various types of crafts.
Preceded in death by her husband, Neale Sanders; brother, Jack Kenning; nephew, Rod Kenning.
Survived by her son, Phillip Sanders (Lee Ann); daughter, Julia Roberts (Don); grandchildren, Loren Sanders (Devin), Scott Sanders, David Roberts, and Victoria Roberts; great-grandchildren, Allie Claire Sanders, Deacon Neale Sanders, and Grayson Olivia Sanders.
Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 5th from 4-7 pm and Thursday, Oct. 6th from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 7th at 11 am at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chattanooga, TN.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Evelyn Mason Scholarship Fund at Riverwood Church of Christ.
