Sue Jean Denton, age 68 of Goodlettsville passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Hendersonville Medical Center.
She was born October 10, 1952 in Cross Plains, TN to Dorothy Fitzpatrick. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother; brother, James Fitzpatrick.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Floyd Denton, Goodlettsville, TN; sons, Floyd (Gloria) Denton, Jr., Robert (Eva) Denton and Anthony Denton, all of Millersville, TN; daughters, Rebecca Michelle (Harold) Harrison, White House, TN, Sherry Lynn Denton and Penny (Dewayne) Hanson, both of Millersville, TN; sister, Rita Fitzpatrick, Madison, TN; 7 grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2 pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Roy Lamberth officiating. Interment will follow in White Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family is planned for Tuesday, October 5, 2021 10 am until 2 pm at the funeral home. The family kindly asks that masks be worn to the visitation and to the service.
