Sue Elaine Earps, age 73 of Joelton, Tennessee, died Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Cedar Hill.
Ms. Earps was born on August 13, 1948 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Tom & Virginia Pardue James. She was a retired Teacher’s Assistant and was very active in the lives of children at Cheatham Park Elementary School in Springfield for 22 years. She was a Christian.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Will & Lola Pardue; and nephew, Jody Cundall.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie (Eddie) Sexton; son, Jonathan Earps (Alberto Mendez); grandchildren, Chase and Hope Sexton; great-grandson, Weston Bowen; and niece, Shelly Cundall Essner.
A graveside service will be conducted at Murphy Cemetery in Springfield at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 18th, with Marcia Hogan presiding. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
