Sue Ann Tomlin, 89, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Ascension St.Thomas Murfreesboro.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, she was born on September 26, 1934 the daughter of the late Henderson C. Ellis and Anne Ellis.
In her working years, she dedicated her life to working with children that have special needs. She was a wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling, collecting angels and doing crossword puzzles. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church where she was a charter member.
Survivors include her son: Kenneth Painter pf Murfreesboro; daughter Carol Sun (Kenneth) Young of Waterloo, Alabama; grandchildren Michael Young; and Steven (Jaime) Young. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; Kori and Karson Young.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN.
