Mrs. Shirley Petty, age 88 of Buffalo Valley, died Sunday evening, May 10 at her home. She is survived by: son, Gary Petty and wife Vickie of Chestnut Mound; 4 grandchildren, Vickie Kieffer of Buffalo Valley, Kelli Martin and husband Jason of Defeated Creek, Jamie Petty of Carthage, April Rowe and husband Brandon of Temperance Hall; 5 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Petty is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, May 13 at 11:00 AM. Bro. Randy Bilbrey and Bro. Ed Shaver will officiate. Interment in the Chestnut Mound United Methodist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Eli Martin, Ty Martin, Riley Martin, Jamie Petty, Andrew Williamson, Clifford Smith.
Visitation on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
The family has requested memorials to Chestnut Mound United Methodist Cemetery.
