Shirley Burnett Kompa, age 95 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
She was a member of Woodland Hills Church of Christ and a graduate of North High School Class of 1944.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Mark Kompa; parents, Marjorie and Arthur Burnett and granddaughter, Christina (Christi) Gray.
Survived by son, Mark A. Kompa (Irina) of California; daughters, Patricia Gray (Phil) and Melissa O’Connor; grandchildren, Mark Gray, Natalie Cole (Daniel) and Nicole Morrow (Tommy); great-grandchildren, Brylie Gray, Kali Gray, Gianna Vincelli, Gabby and Sara Cole; and Elaine Van Cleave (adopted sister) and dear friend.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. (visitation 12-2 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road by Kenneth Chumley. Interment Woodlawn cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
