Our beloved Shirley Russell, age 79 of Nashville, went to her Heavenly home April 15, 2026. She was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother who poured her heart into her family, always placing their needs above her own. Shirley was a woman of deep and abiding faith, a steady light in the lives of those who knew her. She led by example, guiding her family with love, strength, and grace. Through every season of life, she reminded those around her to hold on, stand strong, and never give up, no matter the circumstances. Preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Gillespie and Brenda G. Lee; parents, Grady and Maxine Broadrick. Shirley is survived by her sons, Donnie Beck (Edith) and Steven Russell (Kimberly); grandchildren, Andrew Russell, Cole Russell, and Mackenzie Beck; great-grandchild, Lucas Russell; brother, William Broadrick, and several beloved nephews and one beloved niece.
Visitation will be at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home Wednesday, April 22nd, from 4-8pm and Thursday, April 23rd, from 10am until the time of service at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
