Mrs. Shirley A. Francis of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, she was 84 years old.
Shirley was a long-time member of Meads Chapel Church of Christ and later Brentwood Church of Christ. She was saved when she was 18 and loved the Lord. She held several jobs during her life, but her greatest joy was taking care of all the kids that came through her door for daycare. She was able to care for six of her nine grandchildren during those years. She loved all of her family deeply from her siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephew. Everyone could count on her for anything they needed.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert M. Francis; and brother, James Brewer, Jr.
Survived by daughter, Cynthia (John) Lund; sons, Robert (Doreen) Francis and James (Kim) Francis; grandchildren, Melinda (Jason) Venable, Dana Francis, Melody Patterson, Jonathan (Lauren) Francis, Brad (Elizabeth) Francis, Lindsey (Ryan) Priddy, Whitney (Devin) Hall, Brent Francis and Brooke (Austin) Delpont; great-grandchildren, Paxton, Camden and Landyn Hall, Levi and Hudson Francis and Elin Delpont; sisters, Peggy Moffett and Darlene Holley.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will serve as Pallbearers.
