Sherry Ann Dowlen, age 77, of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
She was a devoted mother whose love, strength, and unwavering support shaped the lives of her children. Her kindness and gentle spirit will continue to live on through the family she cherished above all else.
She was preceded in death by her husband Terry Van Dowlen, Sr., son Steve Edward Dowlen; and grandson Stefan Dowlen.
Survivors include her son Terry Van Dowlen, Jr.; daughter Stacy (John) Hostettler; sister Regina Kaye Parker; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Monday, July 27th from 12 P.M. until the time of Service at 2 P.M. with Jason Dowlen officiating.
Interment follows at Joelton Hills Memory Gardens.
