Shelia Faye Douglas, age 71, of Joelton, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Beloved by family and friends, she was a devoted mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Raised in Joelton, Tennessee, she graduated from Joelton High School in 1973 and carried the warmth of her hometown throughout her life. Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Inez Pitt; sister Barbara Pitt LeBlanc; nephew Jerry Gene Harris; brother-in-law Pete Rose; and four legged companions Sissy, Daisey, Belle, and Max.
Survivors include her children Billy (Jennifer) Douglas, Steve Douglas, and Michelle Douglas (Malcolm); grandchildren Macy, Austin (Tara), Mallory, Paige, Aiden, Avery, Liam, and Tre; great grandchildren Camden, Jaxon, Lillian, Charlotte; sisters Patsy Harris, Peggy (Tony) Duke, Rosemary Rose, Edith Brown, Pam Pitt; brother-in-law James LeBlanc; many loving nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20th at 5 P.M. and visitation with the family will begin one hour prior at 4 P.M. https://www.andersonandgarrett.com
