Seymour Sebastian “Sam” Staten, son of the late Ela “Peg” Staten was born January 8th, 1958. He was educated in Williamson County Schools. Sam was known as a jack of all trades, he could turn his hand to any. Later in life, Sam gave his life to Christ, finding peace in his faith. He will be remembered for his laughter, his love of the blues, and the joy he found in the company of family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories children; Vondrell Santiago, Carmeta Lee, Seymour “Seymo” Staten, Tywana Staten, and Demarcus Staten; sisters Natasha Holt, Barbara Burnett; A host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and devoted Friends.
