Sandy Rodgers Obituary

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Rodgers, 75, of Middleton, TN, passed away January 12, 2026. Sandy was born in Fort Bragg, NC on December 9, 1950. With her father being in the army, she lived in many different states, though she spoke fondly of her years spent in Hawaii and Alaska. Her family eventually settled in Memphis, Tennessee, where she met the love of her life, Daniel Rodgers.

Sandy and Dan married and spent many years building a life and a family in Collierville, Tennessee. She had a love of crafts, always painting and decorating. Later, they moved to Middleton, where they became staples of the community as the owners and operators of Crabapple Corners. For many years, Sandy poured her heart into the boutique, deli, and coffee shop, creating a warm and welcoming space for neighbors and friends to gather before she and Dan eventually retired to Summerville, South Carolina. She later moved back to Middleton to be with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Rodgers; parents, Lindsey and Kathryn Massey; brothers, Donald, Barney and Ronnie Massey. She is survived by her sons, Matt (LeeAnn) Rodgers and Adam Rodgers; grandchildren, Landon Rodgers and Kaytlin Rodgers; sister, Mona Swindle; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers that helped her these last few months.

No services to announce at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you share a cup of coffee with a friend in Sandy’s honor.
