Mr. Roy Armistead, Jr. age 84 of the New Middleton Community, died Wednesday evening, October 8 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He is survived by:
- wife, Paula Oakley Armistead;
- daughter, Kim Armistead Lamont and husband Steve of New Middleton;
- son, Greg Armistead of Hermitage;
- 2 sisters, Carol Keegan and husband Frank of Columbia, TN, Sara Armistead of Morristown;
- 2 grandchildren, Emily Lamont King and husband Zakk of Algood, Lauren Lamont of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mr. Armistead will be cremated at Cumberland Family Services. There will be a family private service at a later date.
