Roger Harold Fuqua Sr. of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, he was 84 years old.
He was born on June 14, 1938, in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Fred, Fuqua and Daisy Cook Fuqua.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Sue Fuqua and siblings, Robert “Bobby Joe” Fuqua and Christine Fuqua.
Roger is survived by his sons, Roger H. Fuqua Jr. and Michael W. Fuqua (Hope); grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Cory Fuqua, Michael Fuqua Jr. and Amber Fuqua; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Lawson, Link, Mack and Macy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Roger loved Nascar Racing, old country music, especially Jean Sheppard. Roger could build almost anything and was a skilled craftsman. He adored his sidekick, Rambo, his Pomeranian. He worked for Ragan and Smith Associates for over 45 years as Draftsman and Registered Surveyor.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from twelve noon until two-thirty in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum.
