Robert Joseph Brown passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 62. He died peacefully at home just before sunrise.
He was born on May 11, 1960, in Fort Worth, TX, to Robert and Maria Vasquez Brown.
He served in the U.S. Army before becoming an optical lab technician and manager for 30 years. He was passionate about fishing and animal rescue (especially Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue), but his greatest love was his wife, Melanie, whom he married in December 2003. He was known for his loyalty, quick wit, and unmistakable laugh. He loved his dogs, Scout and Lily, and the five who no doubt greeted him in Heaven.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie; his daughter, Jennifer Brown; four grandchildren; his mother, Maria Brown; his sisters, Debbie LaFevor and Carol Jensen; brother, David Brown (Ginger); and many extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m., at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville, TN. https://www.woodbinefuneralhome.com
