Rev. L. H. Hardwick Jr., Pastor of Christ Church, Emeritus, age 89 of Nashville, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
Preceded in death by first wife of 56 years, Montelle Carson Hardwick; and parents, L. H. and Mariah Hardwick, Sr.
Survived by wife, Carol Hardwick; sons, L. H. “Mike” Hardwick, III and Joseph Stephen (Polly) Hardwick; grandchildren; Katy (Drew) Smith, Christina (Mike) Foster, Maggie (Ben) Batts, Shayna (Derek) Gunn, Megan (Mish) Pechazis, Lawson (Cory) Hardwick IV and Michael Carson Hardwick. and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m., Thursday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Friday 12-1 p.m.) at Christ Church, 15354 Old Hickory Blvd. by Rev. Paul Russell and Dr. Rubel Shelley. Interment Christ Church Memorial Gardens. His family will serve as Pallbearers.
