Rebecca “Jo” Baggett, age 70, of Nashville, Tennessee, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Jo was born on April 4, 1953 to Eugene and Becky Roberts. She grew up in Morristown, TN. She graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN
Jo met her husband, Ray Baggett, while working at Opryland in 1973 and were married 6 months later.
Jo excelled in her sales career throughout her life, often receiving awards & accolades. Her heart’s desire was to serve the Lord. She was active in her church often serving on committees, teaching a lifegroup class, and singing in the choir. She was very involved in her grandchildren’s lives and was the happiest when attending their sports, especially bowling.
Jo is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ray; daughter, Rachel (Michael) Thomas; grandchildren, Kaelyn (Jacob Cook) and Connor Thomas; great-grandchild, Ashlynn Cook; sister, Beth (Phil) Patterson; brother, John (Wilma) Roberts; several nieces & nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church on Saturday, April 22nd. Visitation is from 10-12 with service to immediately follow at 12.
