Raymond Bennett, age 89 of Nashville, TN passed away on October 20, 2021.
Preceded in death by his parents, Gideon “Gid” and Oveline Bennett; brothers, Bill, Harold, Mike, Ralph, Desmond “Ted”, Lewis and Jerry; sisters, Connie and Geannette.
He was the owner and operator of Bennett Plumbing Company and he was a proud member of Plumber and Pipefitters Local #572. He enjoyed boating and time on the lake with family and friends, but his favorite was all the memories made with his children and grandchildren.
Survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty Bennett; children, Deborah Bennett, Janet (Dennis) Brashear and Jeff Bennett; grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as “Tick”, Ryan Payne and Ashley (Curtis) Conner; great-grandchildren, Hazel, Declan, and Owen Conner; sister, Elaine Duckworth; and brother, Sanford Bennett.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
