Priscilla Kay Postins, age 82, of Franklin, Kentucky, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 3, 2026. She lived a life devoted to her family and community.

Kay was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to RV Gupton and Edna McKnight Gupton. She graduated from Marshall County High School and attended Middle Tennessee State College, where she met Gene Postins, her husband of 60 years. They moved to Franklin in 1973, where they lived, worked, and raised their family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Pierce (Adam); her son, Jonathan Postins; her grandchildren, Reed Pierce (Delaney) and Wilkes Pierce; her great-grandson, Brooks Pierce; her sister, Patricia Foster; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, Kentucky.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Kentucky,

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Postins, Adam Pierce, Reed Pierce, Wilkes Pierce, Michael Foster, Marc Foster, and Tim Tomlinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor Christian Camp, c/o Franklin Church of Christ, P.O. Box 511, Franklin, KY 42135.

Priscilla’s gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
