Phillip “Phil” Randall Belcher, age 71, of West Nashville, passed from this life on Thursday, September 26, 2024, after an extended illness.
Phil was retired from the Metro Nashville Fire Department after many years of dedicated service to our community.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Riley Hansford Belcher; his brother, Hank Belcher. Phil is survived by his wife of 37 years, Suzanne Sadler Belcher; his sister, Mary Lou; sister-in-law, Joyce; son, Joshua (Leigh) Belcher; step-sons, Steve (Michelle) Sadler and Ray (Angela) Sadler, brother in law, Macon (Gloria) Jones; his grandchildren, Luke Sadler, Noah Sadler, Eli Sadler, Will Sadler, and Ellie Grace Sadler; nephew, Jason (Rebecca) Belcher; great-niece, Malone Belcher and great nephew, Hayes Belcher
The family will have a time of celebration on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 2 PM until 4 PM, at the Section 7 Clubhouse in River Plantation. All are welcome to attend and following the celebration, Phil would want you all to go home and cheer on the Tennessee Volunteers. GO BIG ORANGE!
