Penny Moore Waters, age 72 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
Preceded in death parents, Carl & Brownie Moore; sister, Pam Moore; grandson, Taylor Brewer; and great nephew, Nick McMillan.
Survived by son, Justin (Tracy) Brewer; grandson, Colten Shepherd; sisters, Pat Griffen of Peoria, IL and Peggy McMillan of Nashville, TN; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was a native of Peoria, IL and moved to Nashville, TN in 1984. Retired from Kroger with over 30 years of employment and also worked at Starwood Amphitheater, her earlier years in Nashville. She played in a pool league for 8-Balls in Nashville with her dad and son. She enjoyed watching Nashville sports, was an avid Titans fan but was loyal to her Chicago Bears football.
A celebration of life for Tennessee family and friends will be Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mill Creek Brewery in Nolensville, TN.
Another celebration will be held in Illinois with information to come at a later date.
